Building on an Old West-inspired variety show, a typical Cariboo concert features a regular cast of some of Canada’s finest roots and country musicians each taking turns in the spotlight, collaborating and warming the hearts of audiences. The Cariboo Express is a 12-piece western band led by platinum selling and Juno award winning Canadian artist Barney Bentall. The extended cast of the Cariboo Express includes Dustin Bentall, Ridley Bent, Matt Masters, Kirby Barby, Stephanie Cadman, Wendy Bird, Scott Smith, Geoff Hicks and Rob Becker. The Cariboo Express was created by father and son musicians, Barney and Dustin Bentall, in 2005 to bring together generations of community members, united by music. The band was built in the spirit of giving back to the communities that have supported their careers. The show has become a favourite event in Western Canada, building a tradition of warming the hearts of all ages of audiences while contributing to a worthwhile cause.
