The school consists of over 120 talented students. Come enjoy a breath-taking dance performance with the children and the senior youth group Vohnetz from the Edmonton School of Ukrainian Dance, to the adults within the Vatra Ensemble and special guest artists Vohon. “Visions 2023” is truly a Ukrainian dance experience.

Splash’N Boots recently wrote and produced an episode for SesameS treet and their original music videos are featured on US TV network Universal Kids’ preschool music show, “Get Up and Move”. Splash’N Boots believe in a world where music can be enjoyed across all generations and have recently collaborated with Alice Cooper, Brett Kissel, Johnny Reid, Alan Doyle, Simon Ward of The Strumbellas and The Wiggles, and Sharon and Bram.

The Alliance Française of Edmonton, in partnership with the Alliance Françaises of Canada and the Embassy of France in Canada, has the honor of presenting the concert "VIRTUOSI" by the Leleu Brothers.
Romain and Thomas Leleu, both elected to the Victoires de la Musique Classique (respectively in 2009 and 2012), come together as a duo to share with you an intimate, unique and warm musical moment!
In their program "Virtuosi!", listeners navigate through different universes and are invited to share the fraternal complicity of Romain and Thomas, serving music.
Accustomed to large stages and international festivals, the two virtuoso brothers benefited from the 2020 lockdown to develop this unique project, long requested by the public and programmers.

Her voice is the perfect combination of whiskey and cigarettes, a crosspollination of velvety smooth juxtaposed by sorrowful raspiness which is addictive upon first listen. Beatrice is Cree from Treaty 8 and grew up in Valleyview, Alberta. It was here where she honed her skills as a powerful singer-songwriter. Beatrice is a life skills coach/facilitator, performer and speaker of honouring her truth. Her album, “On The Road to Nowhere”, written with 80 EMPIRE is her testimony in music form. Her album is a powerful narrative of her life story.

Festival Place Peace ParkClassics in the Park is a new summer event in Strathcona County, presented by Festival Place Cultural Arts Foundation and Festival Place. The event will take place at Sherwood Park’s Peace Park and will feature an outdoor chamber music performance. Guests can expect to hear repertoire showcasing a variety of better-known popular pieces from movies, musical productions, classical pieces and renown composers. To add to the experience, local artists will set up booths to showcase and sell their art, linking together the “artistes and the artists”. Row seating will be available but guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets/lawn chairs to set up on the grass. Should the weather forecast rain, the concert will move indoors to the Festival Place Theatre.

Jeremiah McDade is an award winning multi-instrumentalist, producer, arranger & composer. Andy Hillhouse has had a varied career in music. He has been a touring bandleader in the Anglo-Celtic music world, a choral director, a music and culture scholar, and now a festival organizer.
